OGDEN – Weber State University unveiled their new logo on Friday.

The new Wildcat logo is part of a re-branding effort for Weber State Athletics. Officials say it’s a fresher, more marketable logo. The new logo provides more flexibility in colors and backgrounds, allowing for use of different color schemes.

“We are excited about this new logo and new look for Wildcat Athletics,” said WSU Director of Athletics Jerry Bovee in a news release. “This new approach gives us greater flexibility in branding Weber State Athletics in a variety of different platforms. This is a fresher, more marketable look that will assist us to create consistency in marketing Wildcat Athletics.”

The new logo will be seen immediately digitally and on new uniforms for the school’s 15 NCAA athletic programs. Fans will be able to buy items with the new logo at Weber State Campus Stores in the near future.
