Provo schools placed on temporary lockdown

Provo Police say that Franklin Elementary and Dixon Middle School were placed on lockdown Wednesday morning.

Provo Police Sgt. Mathew Siufanua said earlier that a phone call was received making threats to a student at Dixon Elementary and as a precaution both schools were placed on lockdown while they searched for the caller.

The schools have since been taken off lockdown and law enforcement will speak later about the incident.
